TIPs: It’s better to use the AutoLock/AutoLogoff option if WinVNC is run as a service…otherwise you may not be able to reconnect after a viewer disconnection. Disabling File Transfer is only efficient if the server is Locked or requests a User Login, because a logged user can access the WinVNC Properties and reEnable the FileTransfer !

In order to get maximum refresh rate, responsiveness and performances, it is necessary that you completely disable “Hardware Acceleration” on the machines that run WinVNC (server). It can be done in “Display Properties” Panel -> “Settings” Tab -> “Advanced…” Button -> “Troubleshooting” Tab -> “Harware Acceleration” Tab set to “None”.
