Software Update: Driver Sweeper 2.0.5

Driver Sweeper is a tool for cleaning up old drivers. When installing new drivers, it is usually advisable to remove the old versions first, but an uninstall does not always remove all files from the old driver. Using Driver Sweeper after uninstalling the old driver and restarting the computer not only removes any remaining files, but also cleans the registry, driver cache, and driver.cab.

The final release of version 2.0.0 of Driver Sweeper was released on Tuesday, to be followed immediately by 2.0.5 the next day. In version 2.0, the program has been completely overhauled. For example, at least version 3.0 of the .NET Framework is now required, it can handle more versions of Windows, including the 64-bit versions, and various extra translations have been added to the program.
