Software update: Douwe Egberts Koffiemanager 2.0

Spread the love

Douwe Egberts makes us happy with a renewed Coffee Manager because version 2.0 was recently released. With this you can easily set up a coffee schedule within your department or with the employees in the same room. ZDNet describes it like this:

Coffee management for the whole department
Who else had milk and sugar in their coffee? And didn’t one of the colleagues prefer a sweet treat? With the new Douwe Egberts Coffee Manager, you can control who is at the helm and who has to get coffee via the PC.

The small program works via the network, and when you start it up for the first time, you can create a coffee group. As soon as someone in your network also installs the program and logs in, he will see the existing coffee groups and log in to one of them. In the program you can enter up to four fixed times at which coffee is drunk. All members of the coffee group are then asked at one of those times on their screen whether they would like a drink.

In addition to coffee, the Douwe Egberts program also allows you to choose tea, cold water, espresso, soft drinks or other drinks. It is nice that the Coffee Manager also determines who should go get the coffee. That saves a lot of hassle. Like a real manager, the program also keeps statistics of, among other things, the number of drinks consumed per person.
