Download DOSBox 0.58

The DOS emulator DOSBox has been given a new version with the number 0.58. This program is written in C/C++ and follows the SDL standards so that it is easy to port to other platforms. An entire DOS environment is emulated which has a 286/386 realmode CPU, Directory FileSystem, XMS, EMS and a SoundBlaster sound card. This gives you a perfect environment for ‘old’ DOS games that you still have on the shelf. Please note that ‘protected-mode’ DOS programs are not yet supported, these can often be recognized by the presence of the file DOS4GW.EXE in the directory of the program in question.
