Software Update: DeepBurner 1.1.5.189

Astonsoft has updated its CD and DVD burning software DeepBurner to version 1.1.5.189. The program is available in a free and a paid Pro version. The free variant can only burn audio, data and ISO files to CD or DVD, and has the ability to create bootable discs. The Pro variant has more functionality† The changelog for both variants looks like this:

Added:

  • ability to create VideoCDs

improved:

  • all previously untranslatable words and phrases can now be translated
  • some interface changes in VideoCD and DVD Video project types
  • detection logic of drive parameters for VideoCD and DVD Video project types
  • ASPI initialization procedure when working from the command line

Fixed:

  • attempts to use burning devices simultaneously in different project types are now being correctly processed
  • “cannot use the selected speed” error when the burning speed was set to Max on some systems
  • error when Cancel button didn’t work for some functions
  • bug with showing incorrect length of tracks larger than 4 GB
  • incorrect session length detection for CD-RWs
  • typos in english language file
  • incorrect detection of drives in CD Copy project type
  • some other minor bugs and omissions related to CD Copy project type
