Software update: Daum PotPlayer 1.7 build 7145

A new version of Daum PotPlayer has been released. This media player for Windows is developed by the Korean who started KMPlayer, which is now published by Pandora TV. Daum PotPlayer has built-in support for a wide range of formats, so it doesn’t rely on separately installed codecs. Since version 1.7 build 3344, the following improvements have been made:

Changes in version 1.7 build 7145:

• Fixed a security problem (remediation of playing damaged ra, mkv, swf files vulnerability)
• Live audio bitrate up to 320K
• Added the ability to output the selected items in file navigator
• Added the ability to create the bookmark playlist
• Added subtitle sync function to previous/next subtitle
• Added AMD AMF H264 H/W encoder
• Fixed an issue that decreased speed in navigating certain TS files
• Improved online subtitle download
• Removed AMD VCE encoder
• Fixed an issue that playback did not work on certain FTP servers

• Added the ability to scale the space in compression settings
• Added audio pitch control function
• Added the ability to output items as tiles in file navigator
• Added item search feature to file navigator
• Added the ability to hide the bookmark file list
• Improved handling of playlist thumbnails

Changes in version 1.7 build 4353:

• Added the ability to view hotkey list in program information
• Added support for window effects in default skin
• Added scene browser in file navigator
• Added the ability to control subtitle sync after current position
• Added the ability to limit the size of multiples if the image size was larger than the monitor

• Fixed an error when using certain Live logos
• Fixed an issue that color was strange with DXVA D3D11 copy-back under certain conditions
• Fixed an issue that DXVA D3D9 copy-back didn’t work when using full screen exclusive mode
• Fixed an issue where title was broken when playing MP3 stream
• Improved handling of alternative subtitle font
• Improved an issue that UI responded slowly when outputting complex ASS/SSA subtitles
• Changed some hotkeys (Upside down -> Ctrl+P)
