Software Update: CWShredder 2.1

InterMute has updated the CWShredder program to version 2.1. With this program the CoolWebSearch spyware can be completely removed. CWS does some nasty things, including adding new bookmarks (mainly to porn sites), installing a toolbar in Internet Explorer, and changing the homepage unsolicited. An overview of all CWS variants that can be removed with this program is here to find. Some new CWS variants are recognized in this release:
