Software update: CPU-Z 1.97

CPUID has released version 1.97 of CPU-Z for Windows. This small program provides extensive information about the processor, motherboard and memory in the computer. In addition, the program can provide information about the graphics card in the computer, albeit limited. It is better to use GPU-Z for this, which despite a similar name is not from the same makers. The download includes separate versions for 32bit and 64bit environments. There are also downloads available with a specific manufacturer’s theme, such as ASUS, MSI and Asrock. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

  • Intel Core i9 12900K, Core i7 12700K and Core i5 12600K “Alder Lake” CPUs and Intel Z6xx platform.
  • DDR5 memory SPD and XMP 3.0 support.
  • AMD Radeon 6600XT GPU.
  • Intel Iris Xe GPU (DG1) (1.96.1).
  • Improved support of Centaur CHA processor (1.96.1).
  • Preliminary support of Intel Alder Lake and Z6xx platform.
  • Preliminary support of DDR5 memory.
  • AMD Ryzen 5700G, 5600G and 5300G APUs.
  • AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, 6800 (&XT), 6700 XT GPUs.
