Software Update: Comodo Internet Security 6.0.260739.2674

Comodo has released version 6.0, or 2013, of Internet Security. This program comes with both a firewall and virus protection and it is possible to install one, the other or both. Internet Security is available for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, and has separate downloads for 32bit and 64bit editions of these operating systems. Comodo Internet Security is free to use, but there are also a plus-, pro– and complete version, which offers more options.

In version 2013 we see, among other things, a completely new user interface, which has been designed with touchscreens in mind. Also new is the Virtual Kiosk, a virtual environment shielded from the system to run the web browser, applications and apps, for example for banking. The most important improvements are listed for you below.

• COMODO KillSwitch
  KillSwitch is an advanced system monitoring tool that allows users to quickly identify, monitor and terminate any unsafe processes that are running on their system.
