Software Update: ClamWin 0.88.4

ClamWin is a GPL-provided passive antivirus for the Windows platform and uses the Clam AntiVirus engine† The program is able to check a computer for the presence of viruses and spyware and remove the viruses and spyware found from the system. ClamWin is not equipped with an active scanner, so the scanning procedure must be started manually. It is also possible to start scanning on a specific day and time via the built-in scheduler. The latest version of ClamWin is numbered 0.88.4 and can be downloaded via this link downloaded from various servers. The following changes have been made in the new release:

ClamWin Free Antivirus 0.88.4 updates ClamAV scanning engine in order to address potential security vulnerability in UPX archive unpacking code. Additionally it fixes the following issues:

• MS Windows Explorer right-click menu integration now works in 64-bit Windows
• Fixed bug in ClamWin when filters were not applied if a whole disk was scanned
