Software Update: Central Brain Identifier 7.3.0.2

Spread the love

Central Brain Identifier has recently been updated to version 7.3.0.2 build 0927 beta. This program can identify AMD processors. CBId not only recognizes more than 50 models of AMD processors, but also provides detailed information such as core name, revision and voltage, frequency, rating, cache and PowerNow technology. In addition, it is also able to perform some tweaks with regard to, for example, the L1 cache and the Clock Control Register. The changelog for this release looks like this:

Changes in CBId 7.30 beta 2:

  • Added the new algorithm for making screenshots.
  • Added full identification for the 32-bit AMD Athlon XP Family 15 based on AX core stepping.
  • Added an ability to change a current CPU temperature sensor by double clicking on the temperature field for ITE IT87xx Super I/O chips. Note, that an appropriate CPU temperature Sensor ID for many motherboards that are equipped with the ITE IT87xx chips is 3 (thanks to Philler!).
  • Now CBId shows extended model and family numbers in the Extended Information group for the AMD64 processors.
  • Added determination for 5 new Silicon Revisions of the AMD64 processors, including CH8-D0 and SH7-D0 (thanks to spec for the actual information!).
  • Fixed some nag visual bugs (thanks to Diapolo!).[break]
