Software Update: Cedega 5.0.1

TransGaming has released yet another version of its program Cedega with 5.0.1 as the version number. This is a proprietary implementation of Microsoft’s Win32 Application Programming Interfaces (API) for the Linux platform, which makes it possible to play Windows games on various Linux distributions when using the Linux Kernel 2.4 or later. The developers have improved the command line capabilities as stated in the following announcement:

Cedega 5.0.1 is now available with improved command line support. The integrated command line abilities included in Cedega 5.0 are expanded and easier to use than before. Simply run: cedega foo.exe to start your application directly. Run cedega –help or man cedega for more information on command line features.
