Albert Faber released the third beta version of CDex 1.70 on Sunday. This is remarkable, because beta two dates back to June 2006. CDex is able to rip the music from an audio CD. It is possible to save the music as wav sound, but also to convert it to ogg vorbis or mp3. The program uses various encoders for conversion, of which the well-known LAME encoder is selected by default. The release notes for version 1.70 beta 3 look like this:

CDex 1.70 Beta 3 has been released.
