Software update: Caliber 2.76

Version 2.76 of Caliber has been released. Caliber is an open source and cross platform ebook management program. Among other things, it can look up all relevant information and cover images, and convert e-books to make them suitable for the various types of e-readers. Furthermore, the program can convert newspapers, magazines and news articles based on RSS feeds into e-book format. Books can also be purchased with Caliber at the well-known web stores. The program is under active development and a new version is usually released every other week on Friday. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Bug Fixes

• E-book viewer: Fix a regression in the previous release that broke the viewer on systems where the temporary directory is a symlink (common on OSX).
• EPUB Input: Fix EPUB2 files that specify a cover image via a tag but not in the not getting a cover when converted to PDF.
• PDF Output: Fix conversion failure when input document contains first page with no renderable content. Close tickets: 1652825
• Editor: Fix incorrect handling of some regular expressions in the Search tool. Close tickets: 1652621
• OS X: Fix dynamically generated context menus, such as the sort by menu not working. Close tickets: 1652694
