Software Update: Boinc 5.2.10

Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing is a platform written for distributed computing and available for Linux, Mac OS X, Unix and Windows. A number of large distributed computing projects use this platform, such as Rosetta@home, SETI@home and ClimatePrediction.net. For more information about the how and what of Boinc, we refer you to this page. The developers have released a rapid update for the Windows platform with 5.2.10 as the version number. Changes since 5.2.9:

Win: Fixes a BOINC Manager connection issue when the manager is waiting on a firewall for the all clear. This generally happens after a reboot.

Win: Fixes the ‘connection failed’ message when another program is using the BOINC communication port.
