Software update: Avant Browser 8.02 build 018

On the Avant Browser website we find version 8.02 build 018 of this Internet Explorer based web browser. Avant Browser has a number of features that Internet Explorer does not include, such as tabbed browsing and built-in flash filters. According to the makers, the browser is the fastest in the world. The release notes tell us the following:

• Improved Favorites Folder drag and drop support.
• Create a shortcut by dragging the URL from the address box to the desktop. †
• Drag and Drop an URL to a tab button to open the URL in the corresponding browser window.
• Arrange tab buttons by drag and drop.
• Support FavoIcons.
• Detect the new version of Avant Browser automatically.
• Fixed User Agent setting, “Avant Browser [avantbrowser.com]” has been removed from User Agent.
