Software Update: ATi Tray Tools 1.0.1.500

Ray Adams has released a new version of his ATi Tray Tools software on his site in the form of 1.0.1.500. The update can be done by clicking this link be downloaded. ATi Tray Tools nestles in the tray bar of Windows after installation and allows the user to tweak an ATi Radeon video card.   • Added Support for last Radeon models
  • Experimental support for Windows XP 64bit/ 2003 64bit.
  • Improved TV/Display support, updated “Default Single Display” profile.
  • Updated Display information. Now “Displays” dialog window will show DDC information for monitor if supported.
  • All registry operation for Catalyst settings are moved to low level driver. Now you can use ATI Tray Tools under standard user or guest accounts (without administration rights). Please restart computer after installing this build.
  • To provide easy operation with Low Level driver I’ve added new utility “Low Level Driver Installation”. Now you can easily Start/Stop/Install/Uninstall driver.
  • Improved 3D Renderer. Now you can resize 3D Renderer window. The bigger window the better chances for finding maximum clocks.
  • Added option to set minimum allowed artifacts count.
  • Added new options in 3D rendered
    • “Set 3D to max quality”. – If you select this option ATT will automatically set all 3D settings to maximum quality. Antialiasing – 6x, Anisotropic Filtering – 16x,
    • “Set 3D to max speed”. – If you select this option ATT will automatically set all 3D settings to maximum speed. Antialiasing – 0x, Anisotropic Filtering – 0x,
  • Update artifact scanning procedure. Now 3D Renderer will show amount of artifacts.
  • Updated System Information module. Added information about Sub Vendor.
  • Updated “High precision” overclocking mode.
  • Added hot key to reset display driver
  • Added new module “Monitor Graphs”, at this moment you can control speed of GPU/Memory, GPU/Env Temperatures, FAN Speed ​​and Main CPU Usage. With option to create log files and export history to TXT/CSV/BMP files at any time. For ASUS Boards (with FinTek monitoring chip) the value of FAN Speed ​​can be wrong if chip sets to operate in manual mode (using ASUS SmartDoctor for example). History capacity is up to 20,000 records. Automatic display of minimum and maximum values. Be informed, when computer go to the suspend/hibernate state, with opened Monitoring Window, ATT automatically close it.
  • Added “Hardware Monitoring” module. Using this module you can put GPU or Environment temperature to system tray.
  • Added option to dump current Video BIOS to file (experimental mode). Only for Radeon 9500 and up.
  • Added option to show current assigned hotkeys in “General Settings” dialog box for Audio Recorder and ScreenShot maker.
  • Added FAN Control to “Overclocking Module”. Can be included into overclocking profiles. ASUS boards (9600XT/9800XT) with FinTek monitor chip are not supported yet.
  • Added 2 new hot keys to operate with FAN Speed.
    • Set FAN to auto speed
    • Set FAN to manual (desired) speed
  • Changes in Overclocking Window. Now when you run “Find Max GPU” or “Find max Mem” procedures, some of controls on overclocking window will be disabled.
  • Now if you close ATT manually default clocks for GPU/Mem will be applied.
  • Added confirmation message to “Save icon positions”.
  • Fixed bug with OpenGL MipMap and LODBias settings when both of them after reinstallation of Catalyst driver were reset to High Speed ​​instead of High Quality.
  • Fixed some interface bugs.
  • Fixed MMC application detection routine.
  • Fixed bug with Display profiles when Overscan mode were no saved to profile.
