Software Update: ALSA 1.0.11rc3

Advanced Linux Sound Architecture provides audio and midi functionality for the Linux platform. Support for a wide selection of sound cards is available, which you can read on this page. According to the developers, the software is modular with an SMP and thread-safe design. The development team has recently been busy again with the third release candidate of version 1.0.11 as a result. The list of changes looks like this:
