Alcohol Software updated Alcohol 52% and Alcohol 120% on Friday to version 1.9.8.7612. These programs can create images of both CDs and DVDs, which can then be mounted to the system as virtual drives. Alcohol is available in the flavors 52% and 120% and the difference lies in the fact that the latter can not only read, but also burn to CD or DVD. Registered users must first login to get the new version, new users can start from here get a trial version. New in this release is support for Windows 7 and the new SCSI Pass Through Direct driver, which we already saw in the new release of Daemon Tools, is included. The full changelog looks like this:
