Software Update: AkelPad 4.8.3

Version 4.8.3 of AkelPad has been released. This fast open source text editor is less than half a megabyte in size unpacked, but it still has an extensive range features. It can be used as a replacement for the Notepad or Notepad supplied with Windows, but also for programming. Through plugins add additional functionality, including syntax highlighting, autocompletion, scripts, and macros. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Added:

• Possibility to specify new file codepage.
• Manual parameter “UrlCommand” – defines command for hyperlink click.

Fixed:

• Text dragging in some programs didn’t work.
• New line type recovery from an undo buffer.
• Grouping elements in regular expressions pattern.
• Picking up a text when find/replace dialog was open, didn’t restore the “Beginning” item.
