Software update: AIMP 4.70 build 2242

An update for version 4.70 of AIMP has been released. This free, lightweight Russian-made media player supports the most popular music formats. The appearance resembles the well-known Winamp and can be adjusted by means of skins. AIMP has an 18-channel equalizer on board and supports plugins. Furthermore, the program can rip CDs, convert music files and edit tags. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• Music library: performance has been increased
• Music library: improve support for compilations

Fixed:

• General – AIMP Volume Slider popup works incorrectly with multiple monitor screen configuration
• Audio converter – target file name contains double extension if the %FileName macro is using renaming template
• Tag editor – target file name contains double extension if the %FileName macro is using renaming template
• Tag editor – cannot read tags from some files in AIFF file format
