Spread the love

FinalWire has released a new version of AIDA64. This program is the successor to Everest, which in turn was the successor to AIDA32 and AIDA16. With AIDA64, a comprehensive overview of all hardware and software present in the computer can be obtained. Particularly useful are the direct links to pages where specific drivers and firmware of the various components can be downloaded. In addition, various benchmarks can be performed and there is extensive hardware monitoring. AIDA64 is available in the versions extreme, Engineer, business and Network Audit, and with prices starting at $40 for a personal license. The changelog for version 5.97 looks like this:

AVX-512 accelerated benchmarks
64-bit multi-threaded AVX-512 optimized benchmarks for Intel Core “Skylake-X” high-end desktop processors, Intel Xeon Scalable “Skylake-SP” server CPUs, Intel Xeon W “Skylake-W” workstation processors, Intel Xeon Phi “Knights Landing” HPC CPUs, and for the upcoming Intel “Cannon Lake” processors. AIDA64 benchmarks and System Stability Test now utilize AVX-512, AVX2, AVX, Fused Multiply-Add (FMA) instructions, and AES-NI hardware acceleration of capable Intel processors. Improved support for Intel Xeon D “Skylake-D” SoC. SSE4, AES-NI and SHA optimized benchmarks for Intel Celeron/Pentium “Gemini Lake” low-power desktop and mobile SoC, and for Intel Atom C3000 “Denverton” integrated server SoC.
