Software Update: Adobe Reader 18.09.20044

Adobe has released an update to Acrobat Reader DC. Acrobat Reader DC is the successor to Acrobat XI and consists of the commercial package to create PDF documents and the free reader to be able to read them. With Reader it is also possible to create simple PDF documents via an online tool. Version 18.09.20044 is referred to by Adobe as a Continuous update and should contain several bugs and security issues help. The changelog looks like this:

  • 4217236: Acrobat crashes while selecting multiple cells of any table by pressing shift key.
  • 4053550: Some part of image/text is getting disappeared while using Reading Order tool-Figure/Caption.
  • 4205378: “Read this page only” and “Read to the end of Document” option under Read Out Loud is not working in MAC OS.
  • 4222926: Read Out Loud feature not working for Chinese text.
