Software update: µTorrent 2.0 build 17774 RC3

Last Tuesday the third release candidate of µTorrent version 2.0 was released with build number 17774. µTorrent is a very complete BitTorrent client that hardly loads the memory and processor, and the size of the program is also minimal. The most important improvement in version 2.0 is the support for uTP: a way of data transport where high reliability and minimal latencies are the spearheads. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Changes:

• Improve downloading/uploading performance with mixed-mode TCP and uTP
• Improve torrent gray out by also graying out progress bar when stopped by scheduler
• Disable net.calc_overhead by default
• Use different icon for disabled RSS feed

Fixed:

• Complete pending Disk operations before automatically shutting down
• Don’t exceed the upload limit with overhead when calc_overhead is on
• Point uT at correct help url.
• Don’t gray out force started torrents when scheduler has stopped other torrents
• Compatibility with old skins
• Sharpen icon edges
