Sipeed releases dock with HDMI and USB port for RISC-V single-board computer

Sipeed has released a dock for its LicheeRV singleboard computer. The dock adds an HDMI and USB port and costs around 5.50 euros. There is also a version with WiFi and Bluetooth for around 8.75 euros.

The dock is called LicheeRV Dock and has been in stock since Wednesday, says sipeed† In addition to HDMI and USB, it also has GPIO headers and connections for microphones and speakers. It also has a reset button and RGB LED. Wi-Fi and bluetooth support comes from a Realtek RTL8723DS. The dock measures 65x40mm, slightly larger than the 43x25mm on the LicheeRV itself. The connection is via m2.

The dock can be purchased separately or in combination with the LicheeRV. Sipeed sells the dock and bundle through AliExpress. The bundle should cost 22.82 euros, around 26 euros for the version with WiFi and Bluetooth. The LicheeRV costs around 19 euros on its own.

The LicheeRV is a single-board computer with a single 64bit XuanTie-RISC-V core, an Allwinner D1, which runs at 1GHz. The system also has 512MB DDR3 memory, a MicroSD card reader and a USB-C port. The board supports Debian and Tina Linux.
