SilverStone Introduces 1000W and 1200W Strider Platinum Modular Power Supplies

SilverStone adds two new power supplies to its Strider Platinum series. The ST1000-PT and ST1200-PT deliver 1000 and 1200 watts respectively. Both have an 80 Plus Platinum certification and are fully modular.

The power supplies have a single 12V rail, which can deliver up to 100A in the 1200w version. With the 1000w variant, that is 83A. The PSUs have a 139mm fan, which will not spin if the load stays below 40 percent. SilverStone also supplies a dust filter that can be magnetically attached to the power supplies.

SilverStone supplies an equal number of cables with the two power supplies, including eight PCIe connectors and four SATA cables with a total of sixteen connections. Power supplies of 550, 650 and 750 watts were already available in the Strider Platinum series. The new 1000-watt model has a suggested retail price of 193.90 euros. The 1200 watt version costs 244 euros.
