Taiwanese Silicon Power presents the US70 series of PCI-e 4.0 SSDs. The SSDs will come in 1TB and 2TB variants. The manufacturer mentions maximum read and write speeds of 5000MB/s and 4400MB/s.

The Silicon Power US70 SSDs use the PCI-E 4.0 four-lane interface and the NVME 1.3 protocol. It has not been disclosed which controller is included in the SSDs, but the maximum sequential speeds mentioned point to the Phison PS5016-E16. Many manufacturers have included that controller in their first batch of PCI-e 4.0 SSDs.

Silicon Power gives the US70 SSDs slc cache memory and a dram cache buffer, but exact details about that have not yet been disclosed. It is also unknown which nand memory the SSDs use for storage. It’s probably tlc nand.

Silicon Power comes with two versions of the US70 SSD, with capacities of 1TB and 2TB. The m2 SSDs have dimensions of 22x80x3.5mm and come with a five-year warranty. Prices have not yet been announced by the manufacturer. It is also not yet clear when the SSDs will be released.
