Signify introduces Philips Hue rail system and portable Hue Go table lamp
Signify is expanding its range of smart lighting in the Philips Hue series with various products. Hue Perifo is a modular rail system to which various light sources can be attached. The Hue Go is a portable table lamp with battery and charging platform.
It Philips Hue Perifo Rail System can be mounted on the ceiling or on the wall. It is a modular rail that can be made up to fifteen meters long and corners will also be available. A lamp can be attached anywhere on the rails, which is then supplied with power. Spotlights, pendant lamps and light bars will be available for the system.
Pieces of rail cost between 50 and 90 euros. Connection pieces are available from 20 to 30 euros. The power supply costs 100 euros and the different lamps have prices from 120 to 300 euros. According to Signify, the Hue Perifo system will be available at the end of the summer.
Philips Hue Tap light switch with dimming function
Signify immediately releases a Philips Hue Tap dial switch for 50 euros. This is a round remote control that can be attached magnetically to a wall. There are four buttons to switch between scenes and the light can be dimmed with a rotating ring. The remote control is the successor to the existing Philips Hue Tap light switch without a dimming function.
Philips Hue Go table lamp with battery
The Philips Hue Go will also appear at the end of the summer. This is a table lamp with a built-in battery and a charging platform included. The lamp can be picked up and placed elsewhere. Depending on the setting of the lamp, the battery life is 6 to 48 hours. The table lamp is splash-proof and has a suggested retail price of 150 euros.
Sunrise function Philips Hue app
Signify provides its Philips Hue app with a function to mimic the sunrise. This works in combination with the brand’s gradient lamps, which can, for example, display the color gradient between yellow and blue. The new Philips Hue Signe lamps, among others, are equipped with such a light source. A Signe table lamp costs 240 euros and a floor lamp is available for 350 euros.
