Samsung will probably present a camera phone at the end of April. The manufacturer has placed an invitation online for an event with the text ‘Kapture the moment’. The event takes place in Singapore.

The invitation shows a capital K with a background that resembles a closed lens. The use of the letter K indicates that the name will be something with that letter. Samsung’s current camera phone is called Galaxy S4 Zoom, but this device will not be called ‘Galaxy S5 Zoom’ given the invitation.

Samsung uses the letter K in its code names for all devices of the Galaxy S5 generation. In addition to the camera version, there would also be a smaller version of the Galaxy S5. It looks like there will also be an ‘Active’ version, although the S5 itself already has an ip67 certification, and is dust and waterproof.

The ‘Galaxy K’ reportedly has a 19-megapixel camera with ten times optical zoom and presumably a xenon flash, has a 4.8″ screen with 1280×720 pixels and runs on Samsung’s own hexacore processor.
