Samsung presents new Galaxy A smartphones on Thursday afternoon
Samsung will present new smartphones in the Galaxy A series on March 17 at 3 p.m. The presentation can be followed via a live stream. It is probably the official introduction of the Galaxy A53 and A73.
Samsung does not provide any substantive details in the invitation to the online presentation. The manufacturer claims that the ‘Galaxy innovations for the A-series’ will be lifted to ‘a higher level’ this year. The presentation follows exactly one year after the introduction of the Galaxy A52, A52 5G and A72.
A lot of information has come out about the successors of those phones in recent months. Recently, photos of the Galaxy A53 appeared. According to previously published renders, the phone no longer has a 3.5mm connection. The Galaxy A52 and later A52s do have them. Renders and details about the cameras of the Galaxy A73 have also appeared.
With the introduction of the A52 and A72 last year, Samsung promised three Android upgrades and four years of security updates. The devices in the Galaxy A series have been among the best-selling smartphones worldwide for years. According to analysts at Counterpoint, the Samsung Galaxy A12 was the best-selling Android smartphone last year with a share of two percent.
