Samsung is working on a feature to answer phone calls with its own AI voice
Samsung is working on a feature to answer a call on a Galaxy phone with a synthetic voice based on the user’s voice. To do this, a user must record ten sentences.
The feature is included in the latest beta of One UI 6 for the Galaxy S23, writes Android Police. That function is in Bixby Text Call, a function to automatically answer phone calls with transcription. It becomes possible to create your own custom voice.
During a test by an Android Police editor, the voice seemed nice, although it had an American accent that the British editor himself does not have. Samsung has not yet explained the function itself, so it is unknown if and when it will be included in more phones.
