A reference photo of the second iteration of the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag has appeared in an FCC inspection. This shows that the Bluetooth tracker, which is intended for finding things, is a lot longer than the first version.

The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 has based on the reference photo in the FCC listing In addition to an elongated design, there is also a proportionately much larger keychain hole than the first version from 2021. Although the device appears to have a larger size than the first version, no dimensions are known. It is therefore unclear whether this is actually the case.

The FCC listing further confirms that the device, with model number EI-T5600, will support Bluetooth Low Energy and ultrawideband. The latter was so far only available for the SmartTag+ tracker. It is unclear whether a more advanced version will also be available this time in addition to the basic model. Samsung has not yet confirmed the existence of the SmartTag 2.
