“Samsung announces phone with 3D screen this month”

Samsung is rumored to be announcing its first phone with a 3D display this month. The device can convert ordinary videos into 3D videos at the touch of a button. The device is currently only intended for South Korea.

TV channels that broadcast in 3D can also be viewed on the device without difficulty, claims SamsungHub, which brings news and rumors about the Korean manufacturer. The device, the SCH-W960, would only be released in Samsung’s home country of South Korea. It would be the first 3d device on the market. You need 3d glasses to view the 3d images.

The W960 has a 3.3″ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 400×240 pixels. It is unknown which OS the device runs on. The device will probably be announced during the CTIA fair, a telecom fair that will take place in Las Vegas later this month Samsung already introduced TVs with 3D display during CES in January.
