Rumor: Samsung will release Galaxy Fit3 next spring

Samsung would like to release its Galaxy Fit3 fitness tracker next spring, an Asian news site reports. Renders of the device have already been released.

The price would be about double that of its predecessor Galaxy Fit2 from 2020, reports Asia Economy. It came out for around 50 euros, which would put the Fit3 closer to 100 euros. Where the Fit2 had the appearance of a fitness band, the Fit3 looks more like a smartwatch thanks to the wider screen. Exact specs are not yet known.

Windows Report posted renders last week. It was unknown whether users could still change straps as they could with the predecessor. The Fit2 is a tracker with heart rate monitor, sleep tracking and integration with Samsung Health.

Samsung will present its Galaxy S24 phones in mid-January, but according to Asia Economy that is not the time for the Fit3. In the spring, Samsung usually shows midrange phones, such as the A54 and A34 in March. Due to the lower price compared to its smartwatches, a tracker would fit that presentation, because it concerns midrange phones.
