Rumor: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 4864 Cuda cores will be released on November 17th
Nvidia is rumored to be planning to release a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti video card on November 17. Previous rumors already claimed that an RTX 3060 Ti would be unveiled in mid-November.
Nvidia is said to have scheduled the release date of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti for Tuesday, November 17, Chinese tech website MyDrivers claims. That’s a day before the release of AMD’s Radeon RX 6800 and 6800 XT graphics cards, which were announced on Wednesday.
VideoCardz, in turn, claims that the RTX 3060 Ti is already being shipped to retailers. The video card would soon also be in the hands of reviewers. The tech website claims to be based on sources from Nvidia board partners. The stock would be comparable to that of the RTX 3070 at release, VideoCardz writes.
The first rumors about the RTX 3060 Ti appeared in September. According to rumors at the time, the GPU in question would appear ‘at the end of October’, but later the release would be postponed to mid-November. The video card is rumored to get a scaled down GA104 GPU with 4864 Cuda cores. The video card is rumored to have the same memory arrangement as the RTX 3070, with 8GB of gddr6 memory and a 256-bit memory bus. The RTX 3070 has 1024 additional Cuda cores.
