Nintendo is working on a re-release of the first Metroid Prime game for Nintendo Switch. That reports Nintendo leaker Emily Rogers. Rogers does not dare to say whether they are also working on polished versions of the other two games in the series.

Emily Rogers thinks he has heard that the remaster of Metroid Prime is scheduled for next year, to celebrate the game’s 20th anniversary. She doesn’t know if it’s really just the first game or if there will be an HD version of the entire Prime trilogy. She does say that she ‘tends’ to the first scenario. Other Nintendo leakers, such as Jeff Grubb, do claim that a polished version of the entire Metroid Prime Trilogy is being worked on.

Emily Rogers is no unknown Nintendo leaker. For example, she correctly predicted a number of specifications of the Switch before the console was announced. She also knew that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would come out in 2018 and that there would be a collection of the 3D Mario games. She was also sometimes wrong, she claimed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would not come out at the same time as the Nintendo Switch, which turned out to be the case. A Gamefaqs user listed her leaks in 2019, showing that she is right about 75 percent of the time.

A Nintendo Direct presentation will air tonight, in which Nintendo will be announcing new games. Rogers made no statements about whether the Metroid Prime remaster might be revealed therein.
