The alleged suggested retail prices of Intel’s upcoming Raptor Lake Refresh processors have appeared online. These desktop CPUs will be on average about 15 percent more expensive than their predecessors. The processors are expected to be announced in September.

The alleged suggested retail prices have been posted online by @momomo_us, also noted Tom’s Hardware. This leaker, who often shares information about unannounced products, claims, among other things, that the price of the Core i9-14900K will be increased to $695. The current 13900K costs $600. That is good for a price increase of 15.8 percent, bringing the recommended retail price close to 13900KS.

The suggested retail price of the Core i7 variant will be increased by 14.1 percent to $485, according to @momomo_us. According to previous rumors, this chip will have four more E-cores than the 13700K and therefore also 3MB extra L3 cache. According to the leaker, the 14600K will cost $380, making the chip 15.2 percent more expensive than its predecessor.

Intel has not yet officially announced the Raptor Lake Refresh. The prices mentioned are therefore unconfirmed. MSI previously shared the alleged specifications of Intel’s upcoming desktop processors early. According to that company, the specifications of the Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs remain largely unchanged compared to their predecessors, apart from the extra E-cores in the Core i7 CPU. For the rest, the changes are mainly in the clock speeds. The processors may be officially announced during the Intel Innovation event in September.
