RTL is in the process of selling technology platform Bright

RTL is in the process of selling its Bright technology platform. That is what RTL Nieuws says to trade publication Villamedia. The company expects to announce the sale within a few weeks. It is unknown who RTL is talking to.

RTL says according to Villamedia conducting strategic discussions with multiple publishers about the sale of Bright. The platform includes a site and a YouTube channel with 305,000 subscribers and tens of thousands of views per video. There is also a TikTok channel with 489,000 followers and an average of thousands of views per video.

Bright was originally an independent publication that included a magazine. RTL took over Bright eight years ago. The plan then was to make a weekly TV program. That has existed for some time. Last year Bright also released a TV program about transport under the name Bright op Tires.
