Renders have appeared online that may show the design of the Sony Xperia XZ4 smartphone. This will probably be Sony’s new top model and the successor to the XZ3. The images show that the XZ4 has three cameras on the back.

Judging by the renders posted online by MySMartPrice in conjunction with OnLeaks, the biggest difference between the XZ3 and the XZ4 is the presence of three cameras on the back; the XZ3 has a single camera on the back. Nothing is known about the specifications of these three cameras yet.

On the front is a single camera for selfies. Furthermore, as with the XZ3, the power button, camera button and volume buttons are on the right side. A fingerprint scanner, which is relatively low on the back of the XZ3, is not visible in the images. Perhaps it is integrated in the power button or the scanner is behind the screen.

The overall design is not very different from the XZ3. In the images of the successor, there is no notch at the top of the screen and the device has clearly present screen edges at the top and bottom. It is likely that the 18:9 screen ratio has been retained and the screen is likely to have a 6.5″ diagonal.
