Renders have been put online of what may be the design of the OnePlus 7. The device seems to have a pop-up front camera, so that the screen no longer has a notch. The renders show three cameras on the back.

The renders are made by OnLeaks and put online on Pricebaba. OnLeaks has a good reputation when it comes to renders of unannounced phones. The design is broadly similar to that of the OnePlus 6 and 6T, but the screen no longer has a notch.

The front camera is in a pop-up section that needs to be unfolded before use. This was previously applied in, for example, the Vivo NEX. Oppo, a sister company of OnePlus, is also working on a smartphone with a pop-up camera, the F11 Pro. The OnePlus devices often get features that appear earlier in Oppo phones. That was the case, for example, with the fingerprint scanner behind the screen.

On the back, the OnePlus 7 gets three cameras, one more than the OnePlus 6T. It is not yet known what functionality the third camera will add. The fingerprint scanner is probably behind the screen again. The 3.5mm jack is absent, as with the 6T.

Nothing is known about the specifications yet, but it is likely that OnePlus will put Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 soc in its new top model. The OnePlus 7 will not support 5G networks, OnePlus previously announced. The manufacturer will come with a 5g smartphone, but it will be released in a different series.
