A Rockstar Leeds developer who previously worked on LA Noire and GTA V mentioned on his LinkedIn page that he is working on Red Dead Redemption 2, including the PC version. Rockstar hasn’t announced a PC version yet.

Vg247 verified after reports on Reddit that the Rockstar Leeds developer in question, whose name is not mentioned, contributed to LA Noire and GTA V. He emphatically mentioned working on the PS4, Xbox One and PC in his experience. version of Red Dead Redemption 2. In the meantime, he would have removed the reference to the PC.

Rockstar hasn’t officially announced a PC version of the game yet, but it hasn’t denied that it’s coming either. The studio may use a similar strategy to GTA V. That game first appeared in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and a year later for the PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version was released in 2015.

For the successors of the Xbox One and PS4, 2020 and 2021 are respectively mentioned as the year of release. That would mean it would be a long time before Rockstar releases the new Red Dead Redemption for PC, unless it comes out before the next generation of consoles.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26, 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One.
