Razer has upgraded its 14″ laptops with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor and the added option of a 4K touchscreen. The laptop also features faster memory, running at 2400MHz.

The laptop is identical to its predecessor in most respects. It comes with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU with 6GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage capacity on the PCIe SSD and 16GB DDR4 RAM. The memory ran at 2133MHz in the 2016 version of the Blade. The connection options have also remained the same. There is a thunderbolt 3 connection, three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and a 3.5mm audio connection.

By default, the Razer Blade comes with a matte 1080p display with IPS technology. With the 2017 version, it is possible to equip the laptop with a touchscreen with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The processor, which was a Core i7-6700HQ in the 2016 version, has been replaced by a 7700HQ, which runs at a slightly higher clock speed.

Razer indicates that the laptop is available immediately in North America and Europe, but it is not yet available in Razer’s European online store. The company asks 2149 euros for the base model of the laptop.
