VideoCardz publishes photos of the first AM5 motherboard with A620 chipset. It concerns a micro-ATX motherboard from ASRock. This A620 chipset should mainly be used in cheaper motherboards. The chipset has not yet been officially announced.

The ASRock A620M-HDV/M.2 features a single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for a video card, two PCIe x1 slots, and two M.2 slots. This is reported by VideoCardz, who holds pictures of the motherboard. The A620 platform would not provide PCIe 5.0 support. The motherboard also has two DIMM slots for DDR5 memory.

The motherboard does not have heatsinks for the six phase VRM setup. This means that the board will mainly be intended for Ryzen 7000 processors with a low TDP, such as the non-X models that AMD previously announced. The ASRock A620M-HDV/M.2 also has four USB-A connections, a USB-C port, gigabit Ethernet, an HDMI connection, a DisplayPort connector and three 3.5mm jacks for audio.

AMD has not yet officially confirmed the arrival of the A620 platform. However, VideoCardz says it has seen reports suggesting the chipset will be released next month. It is not yet known what the ASRock motherboard will cost.
