PC version Horizon Zero Dawn will be released on August 7

Guerrilla Games will release Horizon Zero Dawn, until now a game exclusive to the PlayStation 4, for PC on August 7. It was already known that that would happen this summer, but so far a specific release date has been missing.

Guerrilla Games has given the Horizon Zero Dawn Steam page an update that also revealed the release date. The developer reports that the game will not only be released on this game platform from Valve; The title will also be released on the Epic Games Store on August 7. The game costs 50 euros in both digital stores; it concerns the Complete Edition, including the Frozen Wilds expansion and, for example, some cosmetic items.

In a new trailer, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerilla make it clear that the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will include support for ultrawide monitors. Compared to the PS4 version, there is also no frame rate limit, there is dynamic foliage, there are all kinds of adjustable graphic settings and the reflections are also said to have been improved. There are also options for using controllers and a built-in benchmark tool is available.
