The fintech company currently employs 450 people and the plan is to add another 300 people. With this, Mollie hopes not only to expand beyond Europe, but also to be able to supply new financial products and services.

The Mollie says it now has 120,000 customers in Europe and will process 10 billion in transactions in 2020. In 2021, the payment provider wants to double this and process more than 20 billion euros in transactions. The company was founded in 2004 by Adriaan Mol.
