OPPO stops patent battle with Nokia, which caused it to release fewer phones in the EU

OPPO and Nokia stop their legal battle over patents. Both companies announced this. It is unknown whether OPPO will now fully release its phones in the EU, because the manufacturer partly withdrew due to the legal issue.

The agreement applies worldwide to 5G patents, both companies report. The precise terms of the agreement remain secret. OPPO does not indicate whether it will now fully release its phones in the EU. Due to the legal battle with Nokia, the manufacturer withdrew from Germany and since then the Find Some other OPPO models continued to be released in the Benelux.
