OnLeaks has released renders of Nothing’s upcoming smartphone: the Phone (2). Compared to the (1), this second device has a similar design, to which some details have been adjusted. This device should also fit better in the hand than its predecessor.

According to the renders, the Phone (2) will have a curved screen edge at the front and a curved glass edge at the back. This, combined with the rounder frame, should ensure that the device fits better in the hand, reports Smartprix.

The renders also show that the camera now has two flash LEDs instead of one and light elements have been adjusted at the rear. As a result, the lighting effects of this device must differ from those of its predecessor. For example, instead of one long LED strip around the wireless charging element, the phone has several smaller LED strips. The SIM tray is on the right, the volume buttons and the power button are on the left. There is a speaker and the USB-C port at the bottom.

Nothing confirmed in May that the device should be released this summer. The smartphone will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, where its predecessor still had a Snapdragon 778G+. It is not yet known whether the phone will also receive a higher price due to the more expensive SoC. This new phone also gets a 6.7″ screen, slightly larger than the 6.55″ version of its predecessor.
