Nvidia is taking stock a year after launching its GeForce Now game streaming service, reporting that it now has six million members. They have streamed 175 million hours in those twelve months.

It is not clear how many of the six million members mentioned are paid subscribers. Nvidia offers two plans: a free one with one-hour play sessions and a $27.50 Founders subscription for six months, with session lengths of up to six hours and RTX effects enabled.

Nvidia further reports that users have streamed 100 million hours of multiplayer games, 16 million hours of indie titles and 4 million hours of Cyberpunk 2077 with RTX enabled. The list of most popular free-to-play games on GeForce Now contains few surprising names with Fortnite, League of Legends, Rocket League, Dota 2 and Apex Legends. The top 5 most popular indie games include ARK, Rust and Unturned.

At the same time, Nvidia reports that it will be adding 30 new games to its streaming service in February, including Valheim and Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, in addition to a demo for Square Enix’s Outriders and Apex Legends Season 8. Nvidia pulled GeForce Now out of beta a year ago. The company hopes to make its service more popular by making it available on more devices. Recently, the company added support for Mac systems with M1, iPhones and iPads via Safari and a beta for Chrome support.
