Nvidia has made a small price cut on the GeForce GTX 980 Ti, GTX 980 and GTX 970. The manufacturer is giving retailers rebates of $125, 75 and 25 respectively, allowing them to offer the cards cheaper. The new prices are probably already processed in the Pricewatch.

With the rebates, Nvidia is meeting sellers who still have stocks of the GTX 900 video cards. The new GeForce GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 are now available. These faster video cards are considerably more expensive than the 900 series. The 1070 is available from 485 euros, while the 1080 should yield at least 681 euros at the time of writing.

Currently, the GTX 970 is for sale from about 280 euros, the GTX 980 is available from 375 euros and the GTX 980 Ti can be found for just under 500 euros. It is not clear whether prices will fall much further; in recent days, the prices of the GTX 900 cards have already fallen in many cases. However, it was confirmed on Wednesday that Nvidia will give the rebates.
