Nvidia has introduced an RTX A4500 video card for workstations. This desktop video card has 7168 CUDA cores and 20GB GDDR6 memory. The GPU maker does not mention a suggested retail price with the announcement.

Nvidia reports on its website that the RTX A4500 is intended for the workstation segment, and not for consumers and gamers. The video card is based on the Ampere architecture and, in addition to the 7168 CUDA cores, has 244 Tensor cores and 56 cores for ray tracing. According to the company, the RTX A4500 achieves 23.7TFlops of single-precision computing power, 46.2TFlops of ray tracing computing power, and Tensor performance of 189.2TFlops.

The 20GB GDDR6 memory of the Nvidia RTX A4500 uses a 320bit memory bus and has a total bandwidth of 640GB/s. According to Nvidia, the memory on the RTX A4500 also supports ecc. The company reports a total board power of 200W.

In terms of connections, the RTX A4500 has four DisplayPort 1.4 connections. There are no HDMI connectors. The workstation card has a dual-slot design and is 26.67cm long and 11.18cm high. The GPU has a blower cooler with a single fan. The GPU also has a PCIe 4.0 x16 interface and is powered by an 8-pin connector. Optionally, users can use two RTX A4500 graphics cards in a system via NVLink.

Nvidia does not mention suggested retail prices for the RTX A4500 video card. The higher positioned RTX A5000, with more cores and more memory, is in the Pricewatch for 2800 to 3000 euros. It is likely that the price of the RTX A4500 will be somewhat lower.
